Destruction of Beauty

The Destruction of Beauty is both an album concept and Met Gala theme that explores the darker reality of toxic love. It reflects the idea that something can appear beautiful on the surface while being deeply fractured underneath. Through distorted, blurred photography and fragmented typography, the design conveys a sense of emotional decay and the feeling of losing oneself in another person. The album’s songs, along with the flowing, wave-like type inside the packaging, reinforce this gradual unraveling. In whole, it captures the quiet, consuming nature of losing your identity in love.
