Verge Magazine’s Spring ’27 issue explores the trends, style, and mindset shaping the modern young professional. This issue highlights denim’s bold return alongside essential guidance for navigating life after college. The first spread features hand cut denim typography with traditional layout-breaking placement to represent the fun, carefree nature of denim wearing these days. Following that, “Cap and Gown” uses a bold, monotone overprint photography style, creating a modern editorial feel. The limited red, blue, and neutral palette adds strong contrast and cohesion, while the oversized typography and scattered school-inspired icons reinforce the transition from academia to professional life in a playful yet structured way.
